I got to be part of the company’s UX team just in time for defining and ideation process for version 3 of the product. I was majorly involved in the user flows and processes the user takes from the point where they open the app till when they have completed that goal or task they came for. I drew and determined the user flow maps and information architecture for a lot of processes on the app.
I also was responsible for wire-framing & low-fidelity designs, high-fidelity designs, and strategic thinking for the business's goals. We were a team of 3 designers, 2 product managers, and a number of developers working hand in hand to see that the user needs and product goals were successfully attended to.
We did some research and from what was gathered in the discovery/empathy phase, users needed more out of their crypto and more features added to the Obiex App so they can utilize the crypto they own for various purposes.
A number of users and crypto enthusiasts generally were interviewed. Also, many users from social media channels and app store reviews had feature requests and pain points on the current app which they constantly addressed.
